I've seen the zombie knights, the vampires and the reapers running around in the swamp so am I missing something obvious with unlocking more undead recipes? At this stage of the game only use I have for ghouls is for Mana/Allfire Affinity. I'm not "complaining", I have been able to use the dwarf units near my starting locations and recently got access to Human Priests and Keepers as well, plus I've been lucky with random artifacts for my apprentices but I find it a bit funny that my only "Necromancer" army is my starting dude with a buffed plague zombie and 6 lv10+ normal zombies that are very good at throwing sand at things. I know I can technically make Skeletons with the spell that kills a mortal but that's being used more for healing and less for the actual skeletons as turns go by. Only at around Week 20 I got the Torture Chamber at the very end of my Necromancer pages and I can recruit zombies normally now. I've also kept alive the Plaguebearer zombie my first apprentice gets and have been using it to spawn and save zombies ever since. and I still only have the Ghoul recipe.Įarly on in the game I was able to beat the Circle Mage closest to me with copious amounts of Wisps, Minions and a Griffon I got from a quest reward.
